Stringer pallets use a frame of three or more parallel pieces of timber (called stringers). The top deck-boards are then affixed to the stringers to create the pallet structure. Stringer pallets are a cost-efficient alternative to block pallets. Stringer pallets generally have a two-way entry for a forklift for handling, but this can be overcome by having a notch in the stringers. These types of pallets are extensively used in North America especially in the grocery industries and are designed to maximize load capacity in trucks.

There are hundreds of different size stringer pallets and there are many factors that determine which size or type of pallet is right for your product or application. The amount of weight to be put on the pallet, the type of moving equipment, the kind of automation equipment, the particular product, the cost, and the type of racking or storing system are all important aspects to consider when selecting a pallet.

A stringer pallet with no bottom deck is known as a Skid pallet. Although it a cost-efficient handling solution, it compromises highly on the load-bearing capacity. Skids are often used as a permanent foundation for heavy machinery as they have the advantage of being mobile. However, their application in handling & transportation is decreasing.

Stringer pallets are sometimes notched from the side to allow four-way entries. This is a design that is similar to the GMA standard pallets which are omnipresent in North America. We manufacture these pallets in Pine-wood which is generally used for export-related consignments with standard dimensions of 48″ x 40″.

A stringer pallet with the same amount of top and bottom deck boards is known as a Reversible Stringer Pallet. Due to the extension of the deck boards beyond the stringers, it is often is known to have a high load-bearing capacity.

These are pallets adhering to the Euro Pallets (EPAL) standards of the European Pallet Association. The EPAL Pallets come in a wide range of dimensions with the most popular dimensions as follows:

• Standard Euro Pallet (800 x 1200 mm)
• EPAL 2 Pallet (1000 x 1200 mm)

These are pallets ideal for domestic transport due to their high strength and low cost. We use specially curated country-wood such as Neem, Babool, and other hardwood to make these country-wood pallets.

Wooden boxes are individually designed to meet the pre-determined specifications of the customer. It highly depends on the dimensions of the SKU that is being shipped in the wooden box. However, we do work with our clients to ensure the efficient design of the boxes without compromising their load-bearing capacity. These wooden boxes can be made from country-wood, plywood, or pine-wood and all can be offered with moisture inhibiting paper or films to inhibit corrosion.
